What To Expect
Digital Interpretation
A Children’s Education Space has been added to the Museum in partnership with Irish Rail & Alstom. Expect to see a life-sized scaled representation of an Irish Rail train engine carriage nestled within the walls of a room and you’re taken on a simulated journey!.
To enhance the interactive nature of the experience tactile and interactive elements have been incorporated allowing guests to engage with the content and experience as the journey unfolds. Through a series of fun challenges, you will reach your destination and even try your luck driving a train.
This project has been delivered thanks to a collaboration between Fingal County Council , Iarnród Éireann and Alstom.
The Childen's Interpretative Space in the Museum gives visitors a chance to see what it’s like to drive a life-sized train while learning about roles, railway safety and the environment around it. The exhibit is aimed at children between five and seven years of age.
