How to find us
The Casino Model Railway Musuem is located a 10 minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 25 minute drive from Dublin city centre. There is a large public car park at Bridgefield (opposite the museum, near the DART station). Alternatively, you can park in the main Malahide Castle Car Park and walk 10 minutes through the park to the museum.
By Train: We are perfectly situated for rail enthusiasts! The museum is located just steps away from Malahide Train Station. Whether you are arriving on the DART or the Northern Commuter line, simply hop off the train, exit the station, turn to your right, and you will see our historic thatched cottage as you walk for a further 3 minutes. So close!
By Bus: Malahide is well-serviced by Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland. Routes H2 and 42 from the city centre, and the 102 (Airport/Sutton) all stop within a 2-minute walk of our front door.
By Car: We are just 10 minutes from the M1 and M50 motorways. While there is limited parking at the train station, the large Bridgefield Car Park (directly opposite the museum) is just a short 1-minute stroll.
On Foot: Visiting Malahide Castle? We are only a short, scenic walk from the Castle Demesne – making it easy to visit both attractions in one day!
